Tyler Eash, Laura Ní Fhlaibhín 16 05 2026 – 27 06 2026

We are pleased to present a duo show by Tyler Eash and Laura Ní Fhlaibhín as part of Various Others 2026.

Building on their long-standing friendship, which began at Goldsmiths, University of London, London-based Irish artist Laura Ní Fhlaibhín (BRITTA RETTBERG) and New York-based Indigenous Californian (Maidu/Modoc) artist Tyler Eash (Nicoletti London) find common ground in shared concerns that encompass experiences with Anglo-colonial history and a return to Indigenous worldviews. The exhibition emphasizes solidarity among peoples as well as their animal, plant, mineral, and spiritual kin, and visualizes acts of active remembrance and the revival of ancestral spirits.

Laura Ní Fhlaibhín works with sculpture, installation, text, drawing, and performance to create sculptural assemblages and material improvisations that relate to healing and care and carry both social and autobiographical significance. The artist presents works from her recent exploration of therapy horses as well as the souls of horses that have been subjected to subjugation.

Tyler Eash employs sculpture, painting, performance, installation, film, poetry, and sound to bring ancestral wisdom to life. Eash explores their own historically conflicting lineages to reflect on global discourses regarding occupation, indigeneity, displacement, and dispossession, as well as the impact of material wealth on the environment and society.
